It is important that you review this policy thoroughly prior to making a reservation. When you reserve a yacht with BlossomCliffWillow, you accept and consent to these terms regarding refunds.

Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund except for service charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Service Charge: €50 for card payment transactions

Requirements: Must be requested through written communication such as email or a phone call

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the entire charter fee

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Service Charge: €25 subtraction from the reimbursement

Requirements: Valid justification required and admin cost may apply

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: No option for refund

Exception: Consideration for emergency scenarios

Alternate: A charter voucher might be provided at the discretion of the management

Requirements: Documentary evidence necessary for emergency claims

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Safety remains our utmost concern. Should the weather conditions be considered unsafe for the charter operations by our certified captain, we provide adaptable alternatives:

  • Full Refund: If rescheduling isn't an option, a full refund will be granted
  • Reschedule: Shift your booking to an alternate date without extra charges
  • Charter Credit: Issue of a voucher valid for one year starting from the initial booking date

Weather Assessment Process

We determine weather suitability based on several factors:

  • Evaluating wind velocity and direction
  • Assessing wave height and ocean conditions
  • Forecasting visibility and precipitation
  • Heeding to Coast Guard advisories and alerts
  • Assessment from the captain for operational safety

Decision Timeline: Determinations regarding weather cancellations are made no more than 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Conditions

We acknowledge that unforeseen health concerns can arise. The following events may receive special refund consideration:

  • Unexpected sickness or injury that necessitates hospitalization
  • Death within the immediate family
  • Urgent military deployment or recall
  • Compulsory jury service or legal subpoena
  • Natural disasters impacting travel arrangements

Supporting Proof

For urgent refund requests, please supply:

  • Medical validation or hospital records
  • Registry of the deceased (if relevant)
  • Formal military directives
  • Official summons or jury notification
  • Issued travel restrictions or disaster statements

Processing: Requests for emergency refunds are managed within 3-5 business days upon presenting suitable paperwork.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Difficulties

In the event that your assigned vessel can't sail due to mechanical failures:

  • Alternative Vessel: We will endeavor to offer a similar substitute
  • Full Refund: When there is no possible alternative
  • Partial Refund: If the substitute vessel is priced differently
  • Compensation: Additional recompense may be provided as a gesture for the inconvenience

Unavailable Crew

On the rare occasion that a certified crew member is not available:

  • Efforts will be made to arrange an alternative crew
  • Full refund if the charter cannot proceed
  • Option to reschedule without any additional expense

Refund Processing

Method of Reimbursement

Compensation will be effected through the initial form of payment:

  • Credit Cards: Approximately 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: About 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: Around 3-5 business days

Service Charges

Credit Card Transactions

€50 fee for cancellations with over 72 hours' notice

Bank Transfer Operations

€25 fee for all bank transfer refunds

Overseas Transactions

Extra fees might apply for international operations

Charter Credits

Issuance of Credits

In some cases, vouchers for charters may be given instead of direct refunds:

  • Cancellations under short notice (less than 24 hours prior)
  • Cancellations linked to weather conditions
  • Voluntary requests to change booking times
  • Interruptions due to operational issues

Terms of Credit

  • Validity: 12 months from date of issue
  • Non-transferrable: Cannot be transferred to others
  • Value: Equivalent to the full value of the charter without any service fees
  • Application: Redeemable towards any future charters available
  • Expiration: No extensions past the 12-month mark

Partial Service Reimbursements

Interruptions in Service

If your charter experience is disrupted or cut short because of issues we are responsible for:

  • Refund proportionate to the non-utilized duration of the charter
  • Voucher for a future charter of matching value
  • Complimentary amenities or upgrades

Disruptions By Guests

If a charter is prematurely ended due to actions of guests or breaches in safety guidelines:

  • No reimbursement for the remaining unused period
  • Due payment is expected in full
  • Potential for additional charges

Dispute Resolution

Should you contest a decision about a refund, you may:

  • Ask for a re-evaluation by the administrative team
  • Submit further proof or details
  • Engage consumer rights organizations for mediation
  • Explore legal options as per governing laws

Step 3: Evaluation and Processing

Our team will confirm receipt of your request within a day, consider it in line with this policy, make a determination within two days, and handle authorized refunds within the time parameters mentioned above.

Significant Remarks

  • All claims for refunds need to be made in written form
  • Refund processing is conducted in €, independent of the payment currency
  • Acquiring travel insurance is highly encouraged
  • The terms of this policy may change, with a notice period of 30 days
  • Refunds must adhere to relevant taxes and legal stipulations
